How To Treat A Pimple Underneath Your Skin

Pesky pimples are no bueno.
I recently had 2 pimples BOTH on my nose. Grr. Thankfully not at the same time!
The first time I used Apple Vinegar Cider and it did nothing. It was a pain getting rid of it and now there's a tiny scar that is slowly fading away.

However, I used a different method the 2nd time & it worked like a charm. That's why I want to share it with everyone!

Note that both of them started off as painful red bumps underneath my skin, OW.

It's a fairly easy process!

Disclaimer: This might not work EVERY time and just because it worked for me, it might not work for you. But it doesn't hurt to try, especially when you are desperate to get rid of it!

Supplies: washcloth, lemon juice, cotton ball

In the mornings after you wash your face, hold a hot washcloth over the infected area for about 1 minute. Afterwards, quickly dip a cotton ball in lemon juice and hold it over the area for another minute. Even if it hurts, be strong!!!

Sometimes, you are able to see that it has gotten less red. Nonetheless, clean the area and proceed with your morning routine. Cover it up if you wear makeup. [[Green concealer will hide redness]]

At night, repeat the same steps after washing your face and feel free to dab any acne spot treatment on it. I didn't because I didn't have any.

Remember: throughout the days that it is there, drink a LOT of water, sweat if you can [aka workout or something] and do not allow that area to get extremely oily if you can help it. Blot during the day or wash your makeup off as soon as you get home.

After a day or 2, you should see that it has surfaced to a small whitehead. If you are confident that it's ready to pop, use a pimple popper and gently press down. Be very careful so you don't leave a scar.

Don't forget to steam your face with the washcloth before you attempt to pop. It should ooze out easily. If it doesn't budge after a few presses, leave it alone and continue the lemon process a few more times.

I wish there was a way to zap pimples off but we have no choice but to try and deal with it as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Hope this helps some of you fight off future pimples!
